In all seriousness, I am very excited about what the coming 3 months and beyond have in store for us. I have a few little surprises that not even Andrew is aware of but, all will be revealed in August!
Here' a run down of just some of the things going on right now...
- I am currently working on sponsorship for the car and organising the outfits.
- We are looking in to getting GPS tracking for the event and ways of relaying it to an online map so that you will all be able to follow our progress from the website over the 3 days.
- For the time being comments have been enabled on each post here in the lastest news section. It would be great if when you read this post you left a message to us and let us know any thoughts, ideas or words of support you may have for us! The comments have been enabled temporarily and we'll see how things go over the next few weeks before making a decision about whether to leave them switched on permanently or not!
- We are in the process of planning a 'Spot the SMARTies' competition which will run over the 3 day event in August. I'm sure most of you can guess what this might entail?! If not you'll have to wait for further announcements over the coming weeks.
Last, but by no means least, our total to date is standing at a fantastic £3,065! Thanks to everyone for their support, it really means a lot to us!

Andrew here, the driver! I'd just like to say that driving involves so much more than navigating + photographing + filming! if they don't work then thats ok, but if the driver messes up, well, thats not ok :(
Anyone can be a driver but it takes someone with great intelligence, calmness and presence of mind to be a navigator....
